The main objective of the TPC Michigan is to provide its members and guests with the ultimate golf experience. The TPC Michigan, a private club and member of the Club Corp. family, is a Jack Nicklaus designed, championship golf course that opened to its members in 1990. We are proud to have achieved designation as a "Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary" by the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System (ACSS), the educational division of Audubon International, endorsed by the United States Golf Association. TPC Michigan is the first golf course property in Michigan and the twelfth golf course property in the world to achieve this certification. TPC Michigan's efforts to promote an ecologically sound golf course successfully provides the Club's members and guests with a unique, natural golf experience. The TPC Michigan was the former home of the FORD SENIOR PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP, one of the five majors on the CHAMPION'S TOUR. The SENIOR PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP was first played in 1983 at Canterbury Golf Club in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1987, the Championship was moved to Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The Championship then moved to Dearborn Country Club in 1990 before moving to the TPC Michigan from 1991-2006. We hope you enjoy your time with us and please let us know if there is anything we can do to ensure you have the "ultimate golf experience".
